What is a Bulk Action Update?

A Bulk Action Update is used when the completion/update of a task applies equally to multiple departments/regions.

For example, if a specific policy is to have been implemented, it would be more efficient to have the DPO update the completion of the task across all the relevant departments instead of having the individual departments make that update separately.

This function is accessible only to specific users and not to all users.

How is a Bulk Action Update done?

Navigate to Manage Programme -->> Bridge Gaps -->> Bulk Action Update.

You will see the Assessment names and the Assessment instances that have been created.

Click the relevant instance.

You will be brought to a consolidated Action Plan. For example, item P1-4 applies both to Consultant and HR.

To update the status of all relevant users, click the status field.

In this case, we have selected 'Compliance (Completed)'.

We then update the evidence and click 'Save'.

The system indicates that the Action plans have been updated, and has moved this item out of 'Task(s) to Complete'.
