Objective

The Compliance Dashboard shows the result of the submitted Compliance Assessment.

It helps you to get a quick grasp of the Compliance Gaps that exist, and enables the tracking of actions taken and to be taken, as well as track progress across dates.

How-to

1. Click 'Compliance Dashboard' from the 'Identify Risks' tab.

2. You will be brought to the Compliance Dashboard. Take note of the filters at the top.

  • Department filter
    • Filter the dashboard to a specific department if desired. The departments that you can see will depend on where you are placed in the governance structure.
  • Assessment name filter
    • Filter to a specific Compliance Assessment if you have been assigned more than one Assessment.
  • Assessment instance filter
    • Filter to a specific instance of a Compliance Assessment if applicable. For example, you may have answered an assessment the previous year, and in the current year have been assigned the same Assessment name but a different instance for the current year.
  • Date updated filter
    • Use the arrow keys to move from date to date. Each time the Assessment is updated, the date is registered and can be chosen in the filter.
    • You can use this feature to view how the compliance gaps have changed over time.

3. Tracking non-starters

The system tracks who has been assigned the assessment but not started.

This feature is useful in monitoring and reminding staff to complete and submit the Assessment

The system will also display the names of users who have started but not submitted their Assessment questionnaires.

4.  Overall Progress

The 'Overall Progress' bar shows the score for all entities under your purview in the governance structure. In this example, the overall progress score is 48%.

5.  Sections - Users' Scores

The Sections shown in the Compliance Dashboard correspond with the Sections in the Assessment Questionnaire.

Click  a section header to expand and view the  answer scores for that section and its questions.

The colours of the Users' Scores correspond with the answer scores awarded to each answer.

For example, a correct answer is shown in Green, and an incorrect answer is shown in Red.

The entity that provided the answer is also indicated with each score.

If there is more than one entity beneath the active user in the Governance Structure, the active user will see the scores of all the sub-entities as well as his/her own score  if he/she had submitted the Assessment questionnaire.

The User Score  is calculated using the number of Green scores as a percentage of the number of applicable scores for the section.

Grey (Not Applicable) scores are not included in the calculation.

6. Actions

Click on a User Score to view the:

  • Question posed to the user in the Assessment questionnaire
  • Answer provided by the user in the Assessment questionnaire
  • Action task needed in order to bridge the compliance gap

7. Tracking Overall Progress

The system tracks the Overall Progress score over time.

To use this feature, use the Next and Back arrows to move from date to date.

In this case, the Overall Progress has changed from 29% on the 7th of March to 31% on the 3rd of April.
